Pressure Balance Valve

The PBV1005AS – Pressure Balance shower valve has a ½” NPT male connection. It is single control valve with two inputs for hot/cold water and one output. The bottom output does not come capped and can be used with a diverting tub-spout. The valve has a flow rate of 5.5 GPM @ 60 PSI.

Supply Stops - There are two safety stops at each water inlet to prevent water flow in case of installation and repairs.

Handle Operation - The volume and temperature of water is controlled by the single handle. Lift the handle to control the volume and as the handle is moved between left and right, the temperature changes. Move it right for cold and left for hot water.

Cut Out Dimensions - The cut out in wall should be 4.60” x 4.76” Inches which is properly covered by the trim plate. This will ensure that the trim plate will cover the cut out hole in the wall.

Trims - The trim set for PBV1005AS consists of a trim plate and handle knob. The trim plate has markings for HOT/COLD. An extension kit can be ordered separately in case the handles need to be extended for proper fit. Any trim ending in *2200 or *2201 can be used with this valve. Depending upon the shower model, trims can be of different shape and size, varying from square to circular shower handles.
